For someone who is an overthinker and an anxious person- she was very attentive to my emotions and being present, tuned into what I was needing. This is everything leading up to the birth. The birth experience itself was another experience she made so comfortable. We had a pretty challenging labor over 30 hours. She was right there by my side without even needing to be asked. Giving me water, massaging my body and knowing the soothing words to share. As she sat with me during the C-Section, holding my hand, I pulled on her strength. “I can’t recommend Bianke enough as a doula! Early on, contractions were irregular and Bianke gave me some direction on things to do to get them more regular and it sure worked, then in no time I was in active labor. She helped to set the entire mood for the birth which was so beautiful and appreciated. It was so nice to not have to worry about those small things while in the middle of labor. Bianke is so sweet and it felt like I’d already known her.
